Since KAM Isaiah Israel’s inception, its members have had a particular interest in the musical liturgy. From documents in the synagogue’s archives we know that in the early years the music of the great German composers, such as Lewandowski and Sulzer, predominated in our services.
Our Adult Congregational Choir meets on Sundays from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. The group sings at several services throughout the year, including High Holiday services, other holidays, and special musical services.

The KAMII President's Own Klezmer Band meets every Wednesday evening, from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., under director Shawn Allison's leadership. Right now the group is made up of clarinets, bass clarinet, soprano saxophone, flute, trumpet, French horn, guitar, cello or bass, and accordion. We welcome new members! The Klezmer Band plays for several events throughout the year and is known for making the KAMII onegs after services more festive! Typically the band plays for Simchat Torah, Chanukah, Purim, and a service in the spring. They also play a concert or two at Montgomery Place.
